Second season of a JioHotstar thriller about mythology, murder, and the line in between. I animated Aaron Pinto's illustrations into eight 3-second episode openers.
Overview
Asur is a Hindi-language psychological crime thriller that blends forensic science with Hindu mythology. Season two pushes deeper into modern crime and AI while holding the show's slow-burn pace.
Studio Blink was on the show's title sequence with Mayank Dhasmana directing. I came in for the packaging: eight 3-second episode openers that had to live inside the same world.
Aaron Pinto's illustrations came in as Photoshop layers. I animated them, added depth and parallax, layered treatment and overlays. Three seconds per episode. Tight enough that the choreography had to read in a glance.
