Ekam
The prologue and episode intros for Ekam, an anthology series about the many and the one. I helped build the particle world that opens it and animated the seven intros.
Overview
Ekam is an anthology from Journeyman Films and Paramvah Studios, built on an old idea from Advaita: that the many separate lives we live are, underneath, one. The prologue had to carry that before any story starts. We made it a system rather than a sequence, particles that stand in for the stories of every life, flowing out of a bright core and back into it on a loop that never quite resolves.
I was on it from the concept, references and animatic, and helped develop the look and the simulation of the particles with Devanshu. The seven episode intros were mine to animate and composite, one opener for each Karavali story. The clients gave us room and time, the kind this work needs and rarely gets.
