DM Movies.

DM Movies is Dino Morea's film production house. The job was a logo and a short ident to carry its name. Jishnu Chatterjee and I jammed on the concept and the letterforms together, built pitch decks for Dino to pick from, then locked a route and worked out how it should move.

The mark borrows from the graphics that used to sit on VHS sleeves and cassette tapes: a rounded film-cell badge, rainbow sprocket dots down one edge, a camera framed against a sunrise. I storyboarded and animated the 2D logo; Jishnu built the 3D render, and I composited the two together. Eight seconds, from a strip of warm colour bars to the resolved badge.
