ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.

The film opens on the cricket, then travels into a mythic world built around the tournament's Navarasa branding, the nine emotions, before it lands on the trophy. The CG team built the 3D; my share was the finish. I composited the multilayer EXR renders into final shots and built the look from there: the treatment, the overlays, the VFX, the motion graphics, the transitions, and the bumpers.

Two things were new for me here, and the most fun to crack: z-depth-based transitions that move between shots using the render's depth pass, and a morph that resolves the 3D trophy into the flat 2D logo to close. The deadline was tight and the shot count heavy, but those were exactly the problems I enjoy solving.
